Isle of Wight Cheese Co. Labels by Etiquette

Gallybagger Printed Cheese Labels

Another batch of great looking cheese labels came of our printing presses not long ago. Our Gallybagger Cheese labels for Isle of Wight Cheese Co. are looking fantastic.

Isle of Wight Cheese Co. is a well-known, award-winning cheese producer, based on… yes, you’ve guessed it – Isle of Wight. Their journey started in 2006. On their website that’s what they say about their beginnings:

“The aim was to create a variety of small scale handmade cheeses for the island.

Shortly afterwards we started winning awards, and in November 2017 we completed on the purchase of Queen Bower Dairy after the dairy farmer retired. We have always enjoyed making our cheese with the best, freshest quality milk from the Isle of Wight and we pride ourselves on close supplier relationships with the island farms that supply us.”

We print a variety of labels for them and they look absolutely stunning. The simple, modern design with a linocut-inspired illustration is a perfect example of what you can achieve with a limited number of colours. That is an important aspect of having low origination costs, as every colour requires a separate printing plate.

The labels are produced on a paper material with permanent adhesive and varnished for extra protection to withstand lower temperatures and humidity of a refrigerator.

We specialise in food labels production and we work towards extremely high hygiene standards ( we have a BRC accreditation) to satisfy even the most careful and demanding customers.
