The process works by adding a special adhesive which is printed onto the label material, both the label material and the cold foil then pass through the printing press together the foil sticks to the wet adhesive and the materials pass through a UV dryer where the adhesive is cured and the cold foil is permanently adhered to the label. The excess foil is stripped away and only the cured portion remains. This is a cost effective process that can enhance the appearance of your product and is perfect for attracting customer attention.
