CLEAR LABELS - for that special "no label" look
There was a time when the only clear/transparent material available for clear labels was acetate or PVC. Not any more! The "no label" look is becoming increasingly popular for labelling everything from mineral water and alcopops to shampoos and shower gels, and now, an enormous number of household and personal care labels.
The use of Clear Labels has become widespread in the last two decades. Clear labels can be manufactured from polyethylene, which makes them extremely flexible and suitable for a multitude of applications. Clear labels are even more popular when manufactured from Polypropylene and can be die-cut to the most weird and wonderful shapes and sizes - think of clear labelling on mineral water bottles, alcoholic beverages and other products which provide the consumer with the "no label" look.
By marrying the appropriate combination of facestock, adhesive and carrier, Etiquette achieves the clarity of a direct printed bottle or container with no compromise to design or print quality. Label? What Label! For extra on-shelf impact Etiquette also recommends that customers have their clear labels foil-blocked. If extra durability is required, polyester is the material of choice.
In addition to working with customers to choose the most suitable clear label type, Etiquette can also advise and supply a Labelling Solution to deal with the application of clear labels.
