A new legislation (the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation 1169/2011) will bring changes to existing legislation on labelling allergenic ingredients in pre-packed foods. Allergies are a growing concern in the UK. They are life changing and in serious cases can be fatal or lead to long-term health conditions.
