Since it conception in 1902 Marmite has split the nation, some are lovers, others are haters. The iconic savour spread has been enjoyed on toast or bread and even as a cooking ingredient. Rich in vitamin B Marmite was included in soldiers’ ration packs during World War I before becoming a dietary supplement in prisoner-of-war camps in World War II.
