Belton Farm Celebrate at the International Cheese Awards

 

The International Cheese awards is the highlight of the year for many cheese and dairy producers across the globe and this year was no different, setting a new record with over 5,000 entries from 27 different countries. A standout performer at this year’s show was artisan cheese maker and longstanding Etiquette customer Belton Farm who were celebrating once again after another outstanding performance at this year’s show.

For the 6th year running Belton have been awarded with the National Westminster Trophy which is an unprecedented achievement in addition to receiving five other trophies including:

  • Farmhouse Cheesemakers Trophy for White Cheshire
  • The Shop Cheshire Trophy for Champion Farmhouse Cheshire
  • Orchard Valley Dairy Supplies Trophy for Best Wax Cheddar
  • Coombe Castle Award – Best Export for Double Gloucester Onion & Chive
  • The Champion Modern British Cheese – White Fox

Belton also secured an extraordinary 20 Gold Awards, 13 Silver and 13 Bronze respectively for the outstanding quality of the produce. Speaking after the event, Belton Managing Director Justin Beckett said: “We are absolutely delighted with our achievements. The International Cheese Awards are a highlight in the awards season for the industry and it is a great honour to have our products celebrated in front of hundreds of our peers and customers, both from the UK and overseas.”
