Types of hand labellers

There are many brands and models of hand labellers available in the market. Most of them classified by the number of lines they can print onto the labels. However, these are not the only feature that classifies them. The alphabet they can print is also important, some can print only numbers, others can print currency symbols and some others can print all kind of alphanumeric characters. As you can see, there are many models of hand labellers than can do the same job. Question is which model will perform best doing the job.

Hand labellers have evolved with time thanks to the feedback provided by the large retail chains all around the world. Main manufacturers of hardware devices listen to what their customers have to say in order to produce a better product, in line with the new requirements of their clients. This is also true when dealing with hand labellers. And also this is the main reason why these small pieces of hardware have changed so much. They are now fully covered to protect them from dust and moisture. This is because they mainly work in environments full of small particles of dust that can easily damage the equipment, and also inside high humidity places which can also damage their main materials. Also, some components such as the printing knobs are metallic to provide better durability. Some models have also moving parts to provide an easier handling of the equipment. Nowadays, most hand labellers are designed with the customer in mind, and this is why they are ergonomic and designed for hand comfort, and to avoid any injury due to long use. As you can see, if you are looking to buy some models for your operations, don’t forget to check all these properties in order to take the right choice.
