The powerful CLP 621 Citizen Printer offers unparalleled versatility in its class and, although it is aimed at the Desktop Printer environment, it is internally packed with features and options usually reserved for high performance machines. Able to print in both Direct Thermal and Thermal Transfer modes, the CLP 621 benefits from being fitted with Citizens all-metal, Hi-Lift™ Printhead mechanism - a system tirelessly developed by Citizen Printer engineers to ensure reliability and precision.

The Hi-Lift™ Printhead mechanism on a Citizen Printer can be fixed in a vertical position enabling the operator to easily clean and service the machine. The CLP 621 printers cleverly designed media arm includes an adjustable media sensor that can handle a wide variety of label configurations including standard and pediatric medical wristbands.
The mechanism is built with ease-of-use in mind and colour-coded operator levers within a citizen printer are designed to make set up quick and efficient. Citizen printers engineers have also developed a Vue-Print menu system to ensure that printer configuration on any of the range is straightforward and hassle free.

The revolutionary ARCP Ribbon System designed by Citizen removes the problems associated with ribbon wrinkle - rubbing and black marks on the top and bottom of the label and ribbon slippage resulting in mis-positioning of text. ARCP is short for Active Ribbon Control & Positioning and the system is effective by means of keeping ribbon tension even throughout the length of the ribbon being used.
